Cop-a-Coat
Held at the South Portland Trunk-or-Treat event in October, the Department offers free coats to those who need one.
Drug Take Back Day
SPPD is a partner in the DEA's Nation Drug Take Back Day. Dispose of your unwanted, unused, or expired medications safely, conveniently, and responsibly at the South Portland Police Department, no questions asked.
Women's Self-Defense Class
We host free Women’s Self-Defense Class to help women in our community gain the skills to protect themselves. This class is offered for adults and registration is required.
