About Electrify Everything!
Electrify Everything!, a popular program led by the City's Sustainability Department, provided rebates to income-eligible South Portland residents on electric-powered consumer goods. The program has ended and the City is no longer accepting applications.
Electrify Everything ran from 2022-2023, and was 100% funded through an ARPA grant totaling $270,000. In just 10 months, the City gave out $262,000 in rebates to 317 low to moderate income South Portland residents for electric vehicles, electric lawn care equipment, e-bikes, heating and cooling systems, and home weatherization.
