Robert Nadeau, Esq., joined as the City of South Portland's Human Resources Director in May 2024. Prior to his work with the City, he served as Vice President of Human Resources for Twin Rivers Paper. He previously served for a year as the Corporate Director of HR for Cianbro Corp. Mr. Nadeau spent over six years working for the Maine Community College System, first as Chief Human Resources Officer, then as Chief Human Resources Officer and Deputy Counsel, and finally as the system’s Chief Counsel for Labor and Employment. He also spent two years working for the Maine Municipal Bond Bank and nearly 16 years serving as an attorney for Drummond Woodsum.
Mr. Nadeau earned a J.D. from the New York University School of Law, a Master of Arts in European History from the University of Maine, and a B.A. in History and English from the University of Maine at Fort Kent. He is admitted to the Maine Bar.
