SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine – The City of South Portland invites community members to attend its Future of Mahoney School workshop on Thursday, March 14 at 6:30 PM at the South Portland Middle School (120 Wescott Rd).
City Council will discuss the future of the former Mahoney School, located at 240 Ocean St., during this workshop. The property came into the City's possession last year with the opening of the new South Portland Middle School. City Council invites members of the community to be part of the discussion about the future of this property.
Members of the public have up to 3 minutes to address the Council. Community members must join in person to comment. This workshop will be held in the Multipurpose Room at the Middle School. Attendees should use the District Office entrance at the rear of the building. A parking lot is located at this back entrance.
For those who cannot attend in person, the workshop will be live streamed at https://bit.ly/SPCTV_Live and on SPC-TV Spectrum Channel 2. Within a few business days of the workshop, the video recording will be available on the Community Television page of the City website.
