Get ready for winter and order your sand bucket! If you are 65+ or have mobility issues, sign up for your free sand bucket to use on slippery walkways, thanks to a partnership between Age Friendly South Portland and South Portland Public Works. Order yours today by calling Public Works at (207) 767-7635 or emailing publicworks@southportland.org. Public Works staff and Age Friendly volunteers, including high school team members, will deliver your sand bucket.
A sand pile will also be made available at the Transfer Facility as in previous years for any resident to fill your own bucket.❄️
