Local Offices for Election
The following are Offices for Election in the November 5, 2024 General Municipal Election:
- City Councilor – District 3 and District 4 (three-year term)
- Board of Education – District 3, District 4, District 5 (three-year term)
- Portland Water District Board of Trustees (five-year term)
Nomination Papers are now available in the City Clerk's Office at City Hall (25 Cottage Rd.). File between Thursday, August 29, 2024 and Thursday, September 5, 2024 at 6 PM. Learn more.
Vote in the November 5, 2024 Presidential and General Municipal Election
Polls will be open 7 AM - 8 PM. You can request your absentee ballot online or at the City Clerk's office. Ballots are expected to be mailed and available at City Hall by the first week of October. You do not need to have a specific reason to vote absentee. Ballots must be returned by 8 PM on election day.
