Open House & Info Sessions

The Water Resource Protection department invites you to take an inside look at the Wastewater Treatment Facility on Waterman Drive and learn about the Pearl Street Pump Station upgrade that will keep our sewer system running smoothly, prevent sewage discharge, and protect the health of Casco Bay.

Weds. August 13, 2025 - Wastewater Treatment Facility Open House #1

5-7 PM at 111 Waterman Dr. Tour the treatment plant and learn about what happens to your wastewater after you wash or flush. Kids welcome!

Sat. November 8, 2025 - Wastewater Treatment Facility Open House #2. 

10 AM-12 PM at 111 Waterman Dr. Tour the treatment plant and learn about what happens to your wastewater after you wash or flush. Kids welcome!

Weds. April 15, 2026 - Pearl Street Pump Station Info Session 

4-6 PM at City Hall Council Chambers. Learn about the construction of and funding considerations for the new Pearl Street Pump Station.

June 2026 (date TBD) - Clean Water Week Celebration & Pearl Street Pump Station Update

Celebrate protecting our waterways and hear an update about the Pearl Street Pump Station upgrade. More info to be added soon!
